The Luxembourg Society for Microbiology (LSfM) invites to the new FNR-funded lecture series "From Single Organisms to Systems Ecology and Evolution".

The first lecture will be a highlight! The Luxembourg-born 2011 Nobel Prize Winner in Physiology or Medicine Prof Jules Hoffmann from the University of Strasbourg, France, will present his tremendous work on innate immunity and the fight against microorganisms on Wednesday 6th February 2019 at 12:00 noon in the “Maison du Savoir” on the Belval Campus.

The lecture will be followed by a “meet, eat & greet” event for which registration is required. Please register by e-mail to secretary@microbiology.lu before 4th February.

All lectures within this new lecture series will take place on the first Wednesday of the month (except for May and August). More announcements coming soon…
