Dr Anna Chioti awarded by the International Diplomatic and Consular Society CIDIC
On 26th November, Dr Anna Chioti was rewarded with the Award of Economic Diplomacy for her role as Head of the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Centre (CIEC) at Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) and for her active contribution in promoting fruitful collaborations between the pharmaceutical and the academic sectors in Belgium and Luxembourg.
This award was given on the occasion of an official diplomatic, economic and academic delegation visit in Luxembourg under the High Patronage of HRH Princess Alexandre of Belgium.
The mission was organised by the International Diplomatic and Consular Society (CIDIC) in collaboration with the Federation of Regional Actors in Europe (FEDRA) and took place in the framework of Luxembourg’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The diplomatic, economic and academic (DEA) missions of the CIDIC are organised every six months with the aim of establishing contacts and building partnerships and business opportunities between businessmen, diplomates and academics.
This mission was supported by the Directorate-General Growth of the European Commission, the Luxembourgish Government, through the Ministry of Economy and the Luxembourg Embassy in Belgium, and the Belgian Government represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belgian Embassy in Luxembourg.
